
Gabriel earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Central Arkansas in 2013 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Arkansas Tech University in 2010. He began his practice at River Valley Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2013. Gabriel is a member of the Arkansas Physical Therapy Association, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Orthopedic, Sports, and Research Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Gabriel’s practice is centered around being hands-on during patient care which led him to complete a 2-year Manual Therapy Certification in 2015. He enjoys working with athletes, as he is currently the Dover High School football team’s physical therapist. He also is passionate about the neuroscience of pain as it relates to his patients that suffer from chronic conditions, low back pain, and complicated orthopedic injuries.
Gabriel accepted two opportunities to teach at his alma maters, one being Arkansas Tech University in which he instructed Anatomy and Physiology in 2019-2020. He then obtained the role of musculoskeletal lab professor at his PT alma mater, UCA, in 2020. Gabriel presented a case study on hip osteoarthritis at the 2016 Arkansas Physical Therapy conference and continues to educate local college students each year.
Gabriel grew up in Sheridan, AR but is now a resident in Pottsville, AR with his wife Ashley and daughter Emmy. He enjoys spending time with his family and the local church community, running, participating in sports, coaching, and advocating for the type-1 diabetic community.
